ISO 17615 and ISO 3522

International standard 17615 - Aluminium alloys ingots for remelting - Specifications defines the requirements of aluminium alloys in ingots for remelting. The standard specifies the classifications, the designations applicable to aluminium alloys, the conditions in which they must be produced, as well as the general requirements for their correct identification. ISO 3522 standard - Castings - Chemical composition and mechanical properties defines the chemical compositions limits of aluminium alloys on the castings and provides a reference of the mechanical properties on separate casting test specimens.
